ShadowStrollin #1

First video of The ShadowStroller recorded on 2/28/2016 strolling to toxic tins social media art gallery when it was located in Asbury Park, NJ. Exciting times!!! I was headed to the gallery to make art and prepare for the next event. I literally had the opportunity to wake up and go make art and co-create events everyday from 10/15 - 4/16. I was so happy.

painting shown in the video is called "You Are Good Enough" Its a Selfie of me letting myself know that I am.  I started that painting as my mantra for 2016 to keep me focused on the fact that I am an artist and good enough to show my work and stand beside it.

4/24/2016 - Strollin to the gArten

The piece on my head is SeaGlass #21 #thewouldbecoolif #rocketship of The SeaGlass Collection #Artonsurfboard.

I asked permission to create live collaborative art next to Parlor Gallery and promote the Gallery inviting passers by to create art with good intentions on the surfboard knowing that they will be helping a special need with creativity.  The artists were then invited to visit Parlor  and check out the Art inside.

This piece also made an appearances at Toxic Tins Gallery on March 26th 2016 for Atom Worth VJ set event. Attendees were invited to paint and dance into the night to Atom's musical performance.

The piece was then transformed into a rocket ship with the help of artists Jill Caporoso and James Tullos and launched during Toxic Tins Gallery final event in Asbury Park on April 2, 2016 called  Toxic Tins Transportation.

I created the costume and pilot named OutPut from Volunterra.  His mission is to create art, volunteer, share where ever he goes.

We launched #thewouldbecoolif into parts unknown with hopes of landing somewhere while helping and sharing along the way.

During its voyage Thewouldbecoolif promoted art and helping others at Biergarten Rooftop on April 22, 2016 in Asbury Park for Earth Day event in collaboration with the Jersey Shore Chapter of Surfrider Foundation to promote environment awareness.

Then at A Night for Charity on June 8th at The Headliner Night Club to help raise food and clothing for The St. George Soup Kitchen in Asbury Park.

Each destination I invited all to create on the piece to show how creativity, color and good intentions can help special needs.

The piece then landed at Toxic Tins Gallery Grand opening in its new location in Tinton Falls on June 11, 2016.  The attendees were invited to paint with the intention of helping those who are very special and need a little more help.

I then brought #21 to my studio in Asbury Park and continued to work on the piece until its completion on 9/16/2016.

#21 was donated to CVR as an auction prize to raise funds, awareness and help those with Special Needs receive help finding Jobs.  It was then re auctioned to help raise funds and awareness for the MS Society.

Thank you to Jenn Hampton, Jill Ricci, Tina Kerekes, Tara, Johnathon and everyone at Parlor for being really nice and allowing me the opportunity create, collaborate and promote next to your gallery.

4/25/2016 -  Strolling past the soup kitchen line in Asbury Park, NJ.

I volunteered at the St. George Soup Kitchen every Monday for 3 years.  I wanted to start my week with the attitude of "Give First" before asking for anything.  The more I gave the less I asked for.  How could I ask for anything when there are people who have nothing.  I am grateful for everything I already have and consider myself lucky and blessed.

11/13/2016 - Masked Tillie Strollin Street Sweep in Asbury Park.  I started a group called Mornings on Main Street Sweep.  Every Sunday we met at my studio practiced yoga and did a loop around Main Street in Asbury Park picking up trash and throwing it away.  We also decorated our own reusable garabage bags with postive art and messages.

The Tillie Masked sweep was to show how Tillie can help the community.
